This Bengali drama was staged by a few Bangladeshi students as part of a cultural program on campus on 16th October, 2010. The pretext of the drama is that “Lal mia” ,a new film director, comes to Dhaka from his village and embarks on making his first film with top stars of Dhaka. 1) Do we really need another International airport while three of our existing international airport are still underutilized?
2) Do we really need another International airport just to keep memorized of the Father of Nation , Bangabangdhu and to keep alive of the name to international community globally.
People are very much confused whether another international airport is absolutely necessary or not at this moment while only 25% of the Shahjalal Int’l Airport is learned to be used. The government should clear this confusion with strong justification of a new airport. Otherwise, it would be a blunder for the government and they have to pay for it severely. We want to save our Nature, people & the Arial Beel.”
Disadvantages of building Airport at Arial Beel:
1. Environmental destruction
2. Do we really need a new International Airport while having some other domestic airport stays in vain. Govt. can easily think to reinvest on existing infraustructure.
3. Fall of Socio-economic situation of that particular victim people who will be ruined from there. most of them will be bound to live in slums in Mega cities like Dhaka, Chittagong… afterwords. Is that the real and feasible compensation for them?
4. Govt. is destroying his natural resource like this “Ariai Beel” in stead of negotiating with India Govt. for water with whom they have made an agreement earlier. And they failed to get that amount of water and we r loosing fish from there, fishermen lives hungry. And Govt. is taking the chance that this Beel is out of order.
So, long live our Government who think to make money with this giant project for next election (no matter win or loose!) and long live our politicians who can make “Hartal” to save a house at Maynul Road but to save natural resource which cost a lot for environment, people and so many.
Raise your voice to save the Arial Beel.

I have seen a mother , in her mid 40′s , being stared by this foreigner even though she is fat and old. But not only just any stare but an obvious stare and a stalker later because I happen to know this women and she told me this. But how come she has a chinese friend , about the same age as her and wore some revealing clothes since its fashion for the Chinese but nonetheless this foreigner did not stare at her or stalked her .

if the mother in her mid 40′s is fat and old, then her attractive chinese friend in the revealing clothes, about the same age, would be old too? lol Does one only get labeled “old” because you consider her ugly? Anyway, to answer your question, I will use the old cliche, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
