@ YANN94Obviously that man is vulnerable to such phenomena but it is even more so when almost all homes are not able to stand.It is also an economic disaster. The impact of life is due to the inability to build safe houses (too expensive for the people that contribute to impoverishing our economies).Similarly, earthquakes are much less equal levels of victims in Japan than in Afghanistan.So there are two factors that will make even more terrible disasters in these regions: climate disruption, which, if not increase the frequency of disasters, increase the violence (see IPCC report) and the economic disruption that leaves the most affected populations in a quandary.It is also true for the “developed” countries. Katrina or a phenomenon of similar magnitude in California would have less death per capita than New Orleans.
