Bangladesh inflation eases in July, c.bank still wary
DHAKA, Sept 24 (Reuters) – Bangladesh’s consumer price inflation eased to 7.26 percent in July from 8.70 percent the previous month, the government reported on Friday, days after the central bank said it may further tighten monetary policy.

Bangladesh fighter aircraft crashes, pilot survives
A Bangladesh Air Force fighter plane crashed into a river in the country’s south-eastern Chittagong port city yesterday, officials said. The pilot of the plane survived. Technical difficulties are presumed to be responsible for the accident, Commander Reza Shah Pahlavi,said.
