Dhaka, Jun 10 : Bangladesh faces 36-hour shutdown from Sunday after two days weekly holiday as main Opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its allies announced countrywide ‘hartal’ (general strike) protesting the government move to scrap the Constitutional provision for non-party caretaker government to oversee the general elections.
