ByEngland rests captain Strauss for Bangladesh tour
England captain Andrew Strauss and pace bowler James Anderson were omitted from the team’s two-test tour of Bangladesh on Monday, giving them a chance to rest ahead of the Ashes at the end of this year. Alastair Cook will lead the team for test and one-day matches, while Paul Collingwood will be captain for two Twenty20 internationals against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates.
