Half adult population in Bangladesh carry TB germs:
About 50 percent of Bangladesh’s adult population carry tuberculosis bacteria, but very few of them carry active germs as the bacteria remain in hidden form, leading English newspaper The Daily Star reported on Monday. Fahim Ahmed Chowdhury of Brac Health Program, a non-governmental organization, revealed this Sunday, urging the government to step up preventive measures to control the disease.
