Kaderi Kibria in an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla says that although he misses Bangladesh very much, particularly the enormously large audience which used to throng in his concerts, he is not totally out of touch with the Bengalis. Here in USA he often comes across Bengalis and hears Bangla language as well. But Kibria says he misses February in Dhaka, the Book Fair and other cultural programs on Ekushey.

Kaderi Kibria, who has been living in the United States for more than one and a half decades now, has been recently running a school of music in Pennsylvania. In this interview Quaderi Kibria also recalls the memories of Bangladesh War of Liberation in 1971 when he took part in the Liberation War.

While talking about Tagore Songs, while he insists on keeping the basics unchanged, he also says that innovations in the presentation of Tagore Songs should be welcomed because, he has not barred that.
