How much does it cost to rent a studio or a one-room apartment in Dhaka, Bangladesh for a month?

A decent room with attached bath and self-contained kitchenette could be anywhere from US$ 200 to 400 per month in Dhaka, depending upon where you are going to have it. Like, if you get it in or around Uttara or Dhanmondi R/A then it would be around $200 and if you want it in Gulshan, Baridhara or Banai area then it may cost you $400 per month as rent.

You may consider low-cost apartment room (like in Siddheswari or Maghbazar) where the monthly rent may be around $150 but obviously the facilities would not be as good or as varied as you would get with more money in posh areas.
