By , 0 viewsIs it possible for a poor Bangladeshi school teacher to get a work-visa sponsored from within Canada? By the by, I’m not rich enough to face and the immigration authorities financially. I’m fluent in English and below 40. I look for your help. Thanks in advance.

Its hard – they want you to have about $3,000 in the bank before you apply for a visa so they know you can obtain housing and basically live for a little while.
From Canada’s skilled immigration:
Important note: Canadian employers are generally reluctant to sponsor offshore candidates unless there are specific skills shortages and often do not consider applicants unless they are ALREADY in possession of a Canadian residence visa, present in Canada for an interview and able to start work in 4-6 weeks. So unless you are to be transferred to Canada by your current employer this can be a very difficult visa to obtain
Warning – the site also mentioned that the work visa lasts for three years maximum. Meaning unless you marry a citizen, they’ll send you home. Sorry.
