Students learn about the architecture and how the database components work and interact with one another. Students also learn how to install and maintain an Oracle database. This course covers the key features and enhancements of Oracle database 10g.

Oracle Database 10g: Administration Workshop II Release 2

In this course, students learn how to perform backup and recovery, how to diagnose and repair data failures, how to manage major database components, such as memory, performance, resources and space using Oracle database 10g. The lesson topics are reinforced with structured hands-on practices. This course covers the key features and enhancements of Oracle database 10g Release 1 and Release 2.

Oracle Developer 10g: PL/SQL

Students are made aware of how to create PL/SQL blocks of application code that can be shared by multiple forms, reports, and data management applications. In addition, creation of anonymous PL/SQL blocks as well as stored procedures and functions are covered in this course. Students enhance their developer skills by learning to develop, execute, and manage PL\SQL stored program units such as procedures, functions, packages, and database triggers. Understanding the basic functionality of how to debug functions and procedures using the SQL Developer Debugger gives way to refined lines of code. Participants also learn to manage PL/SQL subprograms, triggers, declaring identifiers, and trapping exceptions. The utilization of some of the Oracle-supplied packages is also in the course. Additionally participants learn to use Dynamic SQL, understand design considerations when coding using PL/SQL, understand and influence the PL/SQL compiler, and manage dependencies.

Oracle Developer 10g: Forms Developer

Oracle Forms Developer 10g is used to build high performance applications for the Internet. In this course students build, test, debug, and deploy interactive Internet applications. Working in a graphical user interface (GUI) environment, they develop an order entry application from the ground up. This application incorporates several advanced features that provide a rich user experience while implementing business rules. Forms Developer is a web based application development tool that helps in quickly constructing database forms and business logic with minimal of effort.
Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) SE 6

The course teaches the significance of object-oriented programming, the keywords and constructs of the Java programming language, and the steps required to create simple Java technology programs. Students taking this course can receive a solid basis in the Java programming language upon which to base continued work and training. The course features the Java Platform, Standard Edition 6 (Java SE 6) platform, and uses the Java SE Development Kit 6 (JDK 6) product.

Sun Certified MySQL 5.0 Database Administrator (SCMDBA)

The MySQL for Database Administrators course is the foundation course for database administrators and developers who want to use this powerful database.
