Post-graduate Certificate Course on Management of Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Rehabilitation (MLARR)

The 14 weeks long MLARR course trains participants to design, implement and develop resettlement and rehabilitation strategies based on global best practices. The courses provide a cortical tools and techniques to implement complex developmental projects. The modules for the course include:

1: Land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation laws and Policies .
2: Consultation and Communication with Stakeholders
3: Social Impact Assessment (SIA) & Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
4: Building & Implementation a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP)
5: Rehabilitation & livelihood of affected people
6: Data management and Management Information Systems for Resettlement programs
7: Monitoring and Evaluation of Resettlement Action Plan

Class will start on 19 September 2010

* Internship and job placement assistance
* Need based tuition waiver up to 50%

Admission Requirements
Four years of University education
with at least a bachelor’s degree in any
discipline (with no third class/division or CGPA below 2.5)
