I’m from Dhaka city of Bangladesh and I have answered similar questions in the past. Let me share with you too here:

One of the good 5-star hotels in Bangladesh is The Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Address: 107 Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Dhaka-1215. Phone: +880 2 8111005; Mobile: Mr. Nazmul Hoque 01713-451821, Fax: +880 2 8113324; E-mail: dhaka@panpacific.com, Web: http://www.panpacific.com/Dhaka/Overview.html The rent would be around US0/day approximately. You may send an email or browse their website and get to know the details.

There are hundreds of hotels of its type in and around Gulshan, Baridhara, Banani, Uttara and Dhanmondi areas. I chose this hotel for our Chinese Buyers for the reason that they have excellent arrangement for buffet lunch and dinner.

If you are going for economy-type tariff then you may consider Victory Hotel. Address: 30-A VIP Road (adjacent to BNP Office), Naya Paltan, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh is small but affordable hotel.

The Room Tariff having 40% Discount, inclusive of 5% Service Charge and 15% VAT comes to Premier Single: Tk. 2029 or US$ 28.98; Deluxe Couple: Tk. 3043 or US$ 43.47 and better are also available. You would also get complimentary Buffet Breakfast, daily Newspaper, fruit basket upon arrival, pickup from airport.

I have a short list of Hotels and Guest Houses of Dhaka comprising about Top-10 for my foreign principals and Buyers which I can share with you, if you like.

Hope above helps.
