I’ve lived in Pakistan all my life, and here’s my view on this

Pakistanis are some of the most friendly people in the world, although commonly misrepresented in the global media. You’ll definitely feel welcomed here in most parts of the country.

It’s not too safe to visit Pakistan currently, but things are likely to get better in the future. Is it safe to live in poorer neighborhoods? well, that depends entirely on the neighborhood. cities like Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Islamabad have been frequently targeted, but smaller towns like Faisalabad, Sialkot and such haven’t. It’s difficult to predict terror activities but hey, you can die pretty much anywhere in the world if it’s meant to happen. At least that’s what I believe

Pakistan is great to visit though – we have the world’s tallest peaks, some fantastic beaches and a great history. There’s plenty to do here, and you’d get exposure to a whole new culture. I don’t know if you’d like living here but a visit would definitely leave you impressed [assuming you're familiar with the Pakistan they show on TV]

Sorry, I have absolutely no information about Bangladesh

What do you think? Answer below!

well i was waiting for this kind of question. look carefully PAKISTAN IS FULL OF TERRORISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO THERE!!! and Bangladesh is also a kind of country which has some terrorists but is WAY friendly than pakistan here is a story:
In 1952 Bangladesh was also a part of Pakistan. Pakistan was like two parts not parts actually it was like two groups. One was East Pakistan and one was West Pakistan. West Pakistan was very cruel and very rude. Suppose that West Pakistan is a little poor and East Pakistanis kinda getting rich. What West Pakistan will do is take all the money from them and leave them with not even a single dollar. East Pakistan’s natural language was Bangla and West Pakistan’s language was Urdhu. One day the West Pakistanis said that the East Pakistanis also have to speak Urdhu. From that day the East Pakistanis were really mad cause the West Pakistanis were ruling them like servants. So they started a war. The East Pakistanis won and they separated their land from the pakistanis and became the Bangladeshis. But the bangladeshis will never forget this whole story.

Don’t even think about it..in Pakistan you will get shot if you’re not a Muslim and in Bangladesh you will be shot by malaria and typhoid….I know this answer hurts most paki/bangladeshi people’s sentiments but I am also from that place….I don’t know how but all the narrow minded people have jotted down in the subcontinental area….

Don’t get hurt people, accept the truth and stand up for the change you want to see.

Once upon a time both Bangladesh and Pakistan were moderately good places to visit or live. But gone are the good days and people from both the countries trying to flee and find good job and better lifestyles in developed countries or countries which though are not ‘developed’ in the sense of human-development, but are filthily rich like many in Middle Eastern countries. Thanks for their kindness that our laborers and semi-skilled workers can get jobs to do and send money back to their families who would otherwise live in not so good condition.

Our language “Bangla” (Bengali) is considered as one of the 10th most spoken language in the world. I know Urdu, Persian and Hindi too. I can vouch that our language (particularly those Bangla spoken in Kolkata-India) is far more melodious and ‘gentle’ in their deliveries. Of course, our people use profanities which sometimes would beat any other gutter language, particularly if you compare the English as spoken in the UK. Bangla is easier to learn also if you consider spoken Bangla only.

Neighborhood are not safe if you are living within the major cities, since petty theft and snatching or hijacking may be waiting to greet you, if you travel alone. However, it is still not at an alarming rate but situation is getting worse day by day.

People are friendly to the level of causing you irritation, since our kind of people would need another 20 to 30 years of eduction and practice to know what belongs to whom and how to respect privacy of others etc. Too much curiosity of people on the may cause you embarrassment at times.

Be prepared to have some kind of stomach upset during your visit here and also have some medicines readily available for treating mosquito bites, dysentery, fever from exhaustion etc. Life is too chaotic here as far as road traffic and also if you need to get any job done by anyone in the government offices, like reporting to police station for any theft case or on-arrival when you face our corrupt Immigration & Customs officials. Your luggage at the airport would be getting VIP treatment by the Cab drivers who would start competition as to who gets to ‘snatch’ your luggage from whom.

These are the inconveniences one faces in any developing countries of the world, but ours is a bit at the bottom rung on the development, hence more chaos and more corruptions one would expect here. Are you ready to take the plunge now…lol!

Have a nice stay here.
