Question asked by Mellow-Magic: Will players who weren’t in the test series against bangladesh play them in the ODI?
Craig Keiswetter/Michael lumb for example were part of World t20 squad but not bangladesh test series, when it comes to the ODI will they keep the same squad or change players?

Yes, the England selectors have stated that they now have a squad, not a team, and will use players where best suited.

I’d expect Paul Collingwood, Stuart Broad, Craig Kieswetter at least to return to the squad, possibly also Michael Lumb although he didn’t do enough in the West Indies to be an automatic squad selection.

That means that Tim Bresnan (injury) and Alastair Cook will go, otherwise I’d retain the rest of the Test squad from the Bangladesh Test series, including Matt Prior. On edit, I’d expect Finn to be rested as well – no sense letting the Aussies get a look at him before the Ashes is there?
