Where can I buy with a clear conscience?
By , 0 viewsQuestion asked by Jens : Where can I buy even with a good conscience ? With so many manufacturers, businesses and countries are dubious machinations, mass layoffs and questionable practices which reveals only a few:- Lidl, Edeka monitor, plus and ferret out the AN- Aldi: purchase of employer-friendly council- Schlecker: Exploitation of workers- Motorola, Benq, Siemens, BMW, various banks: mass redundancies- China: massive human rights violations- India, Pakistan, Bangladesh: Child Labour- Etc.There are always calls to these businesses, manufacturers and countries to avoid what I would like to do, just where can I still buy good conscience. Or in other words: where there is the human AG?Ebay is probably no alternative for farmers is difficult for me because I live in the big city as it takes for me to the next farmer. And self-catering in the stone age is probably not the solution.@ Lina is right: everything is connected to everything.Unfortunately I have no mom and pop store around the corner, these discounters have all made wide. I e.g. Buy a place where I have to see with every purchase is not always new faces (permanent change of staff) and where a good tone between the employee store manager there.E.g. Aldi (South) has been sitting for 30 years, becomes as a cashier at the checkout. Also, the DM drugstore market is known to be very socially to his employees. There, all apprentices are taken after passing the exam.

If you live rural, there is still the weekly markets with regional brands. But since there are often strong links with industry, particularly in the dairy industry. A further advantage is usually the shortest and thus environmentally advantageous transportation and less expensive packaging. Just organic products are often packaged in supermarkets paradoxically exaggerated, as if to compensate for the ecological advantage in the production of ecologically unfavorable packing again. In many large cities there are also organic supermarkets, with me as the working conditions are not known.Possibly. you have indeed good fortune and in your area, there is a box systems of a bio-farmers. This question, however, whether he cultivates it all himself, or even the wholesale concerns. Some organic farms are-namely, that, but it rather reluctant to communicate to the outside. When Demeter farms is the probability that self-cultivation into the box systems is much higher. Possibly. did you even a Camp Hill community near you. There you will even directly supported social projects and save often compared to the more commercial competition and no money.Would be ideal, in fact, if you anbaust everything yourself. Because you will save you an even more pesticides and a lot of waste.

I am also of the opinion that it is important to know what you can not afford the purse her as a quiet conscience, because when you have no money and no thanks to you.Sure can one wants to buy fairly traded goods are more expensive and the assumption is that it is good to the producers, but do you really?Scandals are always times (rotten meat, child labor, abuse of subsidy) out, but you have to jump onto a train?

A fair trade label or Fair Trade Logo identifies products, including Fair Trade, in whose preparation with particular social and environmental criteria were partly met. The prizes include such seals mainly by fair trade organizations in the federation of Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International FLO. Since early 2003, the seal of the FLO in most countries is standardized. There are also product-specific label and its own seal of some enterprises.See also http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair-Trade-Siegel
